MumRed
Body Sovereignty for every Woman

GrassRoots
Founded in October 2023 by Samala Thakialee Cronin, MumRed is a First Nations luxury fashion label rooted in cultural sovereignty, self-determination, and unapologetic expression.
As a Butchulla and Woppaburra woman raised on Lardil Country in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Samala channels her heritage into every stitch, blending traditional resources with modern silhouettes to create couture that speaks to both the past and the future.
In just over a year, MumRed has transformed from a bold vision into a nationally recognized brand.

OUR JOURNEY
Nominated in four categories at the National Indigenous Fashion Awards, featured in Vogue Australia, and opening the prestigious 2024 Melbourne Fashion Week, MumRed is rewriting the narrative of First Nations fashion.
The label has also graced red carpets, dressing ARIA Award winners, and is preparing to showcase on international stages in Milan, Paris, and New York Fashion Weeks 2025.
MumRed is more than fashion; it's a movement—a reclamation of culture, color, and country.
Every design is an act of sovereignty, woven with stories of resilience, beauty, and power.
